Clare Rockefeller is a wife, mother, real estate entrepreneur, educator, children’s ministry leader, and military community advocate. Clare serves as the Executive Director of the Second Service Foundation.
Clare has 19 years experience managing a real estate company she co-founded with her husband, Mark. For the past 17 years, Clare has led local adult and children’s education groups for Bible Study Fellowship, a large international Christian ministry. As an entrepreneur, educator, and veteran military spouse who understands military life and the difficult transition to the civilian world after active-duty, Clare has a unique perspective to developing and implementing strategies to benefit military community entrepreneurs.
Clare and Mark met in college and were married at age 21. Together, they’ve experienced multiple military moves, deployments, and built a family and businesses together. They live outside of Washington, DC with their children and rescued German Shepherds named Boaz and Basin.
