Our Mission

Supporting the Military Community

The Second Service Foundation (formerly StreetShares Foundation) was launched on Veterans Day 2016 with a mission to inspire, educate, and support military-connected business ownership in America. We provide coaching, resources, and capital, as well as an innovative mentorship program to support entrepreneurs in scaling from startup to the stars.

From our founder

“We’re grateful to Servicemembers and their families for their first service (in uniform). Our team now focuses on helping them find their “second service” to their communities…now as entrepreneurs, business owners, creatives, and innovators. It’s the same heart of service, but a new mission.”
