Finding Your Second Service (FYSS) is an innovative executive coaching program that uses a strengths-based approach to help you explore your talents and strengths to determine your “second service.”

The Second Service Foundation (formerly StreetShares Foundation) was launched on Veterans Day 2016 with a mission to inspire, educate, and support military-connected business ownership in America. We provide coaching, resources, and capital, as well as an innovative mentorship program, to support entrepreneurs in scaling from startup to the stars.

Apply to participate in the Military Entrepreneur Challenge for your opportunity to receive business coaching and to pitch your ideas for early-stage and social-impact capital grants. The Second Service Foundation partners with other military aligned events to host several regional Military Entrepreneur Challenge events and our National competition each year.

Develop a one-page pitch sheet and apply to participate in the pitch competition.

Prepare Your Pitch

Once accepted to the pitch competition, prepare for your pitch so you can impress the judges and move to the challenge round.

Military Entrepreneur Challenge

Time to pitch! Give us your very best 2-3 minute pitch about your business ideas and the impact they will have on the military community.
